In 1987 a Garbage Pail Kids movie was released but tanked in theaters. It was only shown in 374 theaters and grossed $1,576,615. On Rotten Tomatoes, the movie has a 0% critic rating.

This movie was only in theaters for a short period of time. It was unpopular and few saw it in the theater. I've only seen sold from video store owners out of old stock. I don't believe it was ever released for normal public sale.
